Automobile Insurance

Don’t overpay for coverage that you don’t need. We work with the top carrier’s to provide you with a great rate and the right coverage levels.

Get the Right Coverage

How much coverage do I need for liability? Do I need to carry collision coverage? What should my personal injury limit be? These are questions you could spend time scouring the internet to understand, or you can work with an independent agent who will guide you through this process, saving you time and money.

There are a lot of considerations in obtaining coverage:

  • Your gender, age and marital status
  • Your past driving rector
  • The year, make and model of your vehicle
  • Where your vehicle is parked when it’s not in use
  • What coverages you select

We are here to help you find an affordable car insurance policy that offers excellent protection. As an independent agent, we are able to help you decide what auto insurance coverages you should have. With our professional relationships, we can quickly request quotes from different carriers for policies that provide those coverages. As an independent agent, we are not beholden to any one insurance company and can find you the carrier that will offer the best protection at the most affordable rate.

What you cover in auto insurance ?

Liability Coverage

Your auto liability coverage will pay for the damage to the car you hit, as well as for the medical bills and other costs incurred from the injuries sustained by the driver and any passenger, including pain and suffering, and lost wages.

Medical Payment

Medical payment coverage helps pay for medical and funeral expenses after an accident. It’s an optional form of insurance that covers the policyholder, family members driving the car, and any passengers.

Collision

Collision coverage helps pay to repair or replace your vehicle if it’s damaged or destroyed in an accident, regardless of who is at fault. It does not pay for damage to another person’s vehicle, which would be covered under the liability section.

Personal Injury

Personal injury protection, also known as no-fault insurance, helps cover expenses like medical bills, lost wages, or funeral costs after a car accident, no matter who is at fault. Requirements for this coverage vary from state to state.

Comprehensive

Comprehensive coverage pays to repair or replace a covered vehicle that’s stolen or damaged by something other than collision or rolling over. For example, damage caused by fire, hail, theft, vandalism, or hitting an animal is covered.

Uninsured Motorist

Uninsured Motorist insurance (UM) pays for injuries, such as medical expenses, that result from an accident caused by a driver who is uninsured. UM insurance also protects you and your passengers if struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Auto Insurance Discounts

There are many ways you can get discounts on your auto insurance. Savings are oftentimes offered for completing a defensive driving course, or for using the same carrier for both your home insurance and your auto insurance. Additionally, through a special program put together by Arbella Insurance and all of us at DPS Insurance, you can save 6% on your auto insurance by donating to Impact Melanomaa national non-profit organization that provides education, prevention, & support for skin cancer.
